In the past seven days, RIVM registered 226,136 positive test results. That equates to an average of 32,305 new cases per day, and that is also a further tightening of the record. The average is rising for the nineteenth day in a row. Earlier this week, the weekly total crossed the 200,000 mark for the first time.
