Here sat King Farouk .. 86 years since the establishment of the ancient tea stall in Alexandria

Within Montazah Gardens, east of Alexandria Governorate, is the Ancient Tea Kiosk, one of the most important places where King Farouk sat with world leaders to drink tea, called by this name since 1936 .

The story of the Isle of Tea Kiosk in Montazah Gardens, east of Alexandria governorate, was established in 1936 AD and Egyptian architect Mustafa Pasha Fahmy designed and supervised its making.

The tea kiosk was built in the Roman style in the shape of a rectangle with four facades, the most important of which is the southern one.

It should be noted that the tea kiosk is registered in the census of archaeological areas, according to the law of the Standing Committee for Antiquities of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, due to its historical value within the park gardens.
