The Central Electoral Commission announced the names of the 240 elected representatives at the 48th National Assembly.

Vezhdi Rashidov from GERB will again be an MP.

Prominent people from multiple parties will not be MPs

In the 48th National Assembly, he will be the senior representative. Traditionally, the first session of parliament is opened by the eldest.

Rashidov will have to ring the parliamentary bell and address the new 240. When that happens, the president has yet to set the date.
