The reports of the prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle with the royal family – in particular with Kate Middleton and the prince William – they’re bad. Numerous royal observers have repeated this in recent months, as confirmed by the previews of the bombshell biography Finding Freedom, out next August 25th. From the book that is rocking the UK, however, it turns out that the Sussexes have (at least) a powerful ally: Charles of England. The future king not only is not angry with Meghan, but «he admires her.
It’s a lot”. On the day of the royal wedding with Harry, it was Carlo who accompanied Meghan – en route with dad Thomas Markle – at the altar. Second Finding Freedom, Carlo remembers that moment with enormous affection. So much so that in his home in London he keeps on display a photo of him as he walks through the nave of St. George Chapel with Meghan on his arm.

Charles of England, in addition to being a paladin of Meghan, would also be the only member of the royal family not to harbor a grudge for Harry and his apparently reckless choices. As sources close to the Crown revealed in recent days, the prince has no intention of seeing his relations with his younger son compromised because of the move to America. «They have a very strong father and son relationship, and Carlo she said bluntly that the door to Harry is always openA well-informed anonymous person explained to a British tabloid. “Although Carlo is not so used to texting and chat, he manages to keep in touch with Harry through phone calls and video calls”. Furthermore, “it provides financially for Harry, as would any father whose son had just moved with his young family across the world.”
The same source confirmed Carlo’s sympathy for the daughter-in-law actress, in which he would see traces of his past. It seems, in fact, that the indulgence of the Prince of Wales is also due to a sort of apologetic will: “Charles knows well what it means to be at loggerheads with the royal family”. And in Harry and Meghan, married for love and not by convention, he would see a young self, inextricably linked to a less young Camilla Parker Bowles.
