Here are the devastation left behind by the powerful element that hit the South Black Sea VIDEO

A powerful storm hit the southern Black Sea coast this afternoon.

One of the most affected places was Kraimorie beach, where the strong wind caused huge damage, Nova TV reports.

Lifebuoys and umbrellas were torn down. Sun loungers are also inverted.

Lightning has split a tree whose branches have fallen on parked cars.

From posts on the Facebook page of Meteo Balkans it is clear that the storm is aimed at Dobrich.

Heavy rain also fell in Sliven.

As BLIC reported, this afternoon a strong storm formed over Burgas. And minutes before it a curious natural phenomenon was noticed – the so-called Arcus cloud. Footage capturing the unusual natural event on the beach in Sarafovo appeared on the Facebook page of Meteo Balkans.

Arcus cloud is called the “cloud tsunami” because of its specific shape and resemblance to the water element. Its shape is horizontal and its location is low. Arcus clouds usually bring with them a thunderstorm, as happened in Burgas – torrential rain poured over the city for about half an hour.
