Army Veteran Expresses Shock at Light Sentence in XL Bully Attack Case

Following the sentencing, the XL bully involved in the attack was destroyed. Griffiths also received a two-year disqualification from keeping any dog.
Despite receiving support online from individuals labeling him a “hero,” Griffiths downplayed the characterization. “I don’t think I’m a hero, I just did what I believe anyone would have done in that situation,” he stated. “No-one deserves to be attacked like that. It’s shocking.”
