When I was a fan of Shumi I was sick of it for weeks after his crash at DC at Spa 98. Finally Shumi was able to fool the almighty McLaren… for weeks I ate myself and my rival feelings became stronger.
A difference. No social media to vent your bile. I see those feelings that I had with myself everywhere. You want to vent your frustration and disappointment about something you can never control. The feeling of losing feels awful and humiliating. You will soon be ready to win.
But it was golden times with Shumi, lots of drama and controversy. And now it’s finally back.
