VIVA – The fierce assault of the Federation Armed Forces Russia (VSRF) again targeted a number of mercenaries foreigner, who plunged into the battlefield in support military Ukraine. Hundreds of foreign mercenaries were declared dead, while dozens more chose to flee.
After successfully taking full control of the Luhansk Oblast (Province), Russian military forces launched a massive attack on the city of Donbas, the capital of Donetsk Oblast, Tuesday 5 June 2022.
The Russian Defense Minister, General Sergey Shoigu, stated that the attack in Donbas was carried out not only to hit Ukrainian military units. But also, reducing the number of mercenary personnel.
“The successful offensive of the Russian army and DPR troops has reduced the number of foreign mercenaries and mercenaries of private military companies, active in the country,” Shoigu was quoted as saying. VIVA Military from Russian News Agency, TASS.

Shoigu further stated that 170 foreign mercenaries were killed in the massive attack. Meanwhile, there were about 99 other mercenaries fleeing out of Donbas.
“A total of 170 mercenaries were killed and 99 others refused to take part in Russia’s special military operations in Ukraine and the Donetsk People’s Republic in the past 10 days,” Shoigu continued.
