After another massive protest rally in the streets of Minsk, Belarus, a helicopter landed at the palace where President Alexander Lukashenko is staying.

That could be seen on Sunday evening in various videos on the news channel Telegram. State television showed how Lukashenko, Kalashnikov in hand, got out of the helicopter and turned towards the palace.
Previously, there had been speculation as to whether “the last dictator in Europe,” as Lukashenko is also called, would allow himself to be brought to safety amid the protests of tens of thousands of protesters in the streets of the capital.
The streets to the palace have been cordoned off by military vehicles of the armed forces.
