A powerful storm swept over Sofia. After thunder and heavy rain woke up the citizens of Sofia in the early dawn, now the vagaries of the weather continue.
Footage released by weather forecasters from Meteo Balkans shows that now a storm, accompanied by heavy rain and hail in places, is pouring over the western districts of the capital.
Video made by Vladimir Stamenov in the capital’s Lyulin district, shows the intensity of the icebergs.
However, weather forecasters warned that a second one is forming after this storm and it will hit Sofia very soon.
The storm in question has already hit Kostinbrod. This is clear from photos distributed by Kristian Pavlov.
