Drivers are advised to adjust the speed and to keep sufficient distance. Because fog can occur suddenly, it can be treacherous, according to the KNMI.

The fog first rose in the southeast in the province of Noord-Brabant, but soon reached all parts of the province. Only in Brabant-Noord it is not too bad, reports the Brabants and Eindhovens Dagblad.

The warning started at 6 p.m. and is in principle valid until midnight. The fog can mainly cause problems in traffic, Rijkswaterstaat warns. ‘Are you hitting the road tonight? Then be extra alert and adjust your driving style if necessary ‘, says the traffic service.
