Health registers two more deaths from the coronavirus in Puerto Rico

The Health Department confirmed this Sunday two additional deaths from the COVID-19 coronavirus in Puerto Rico, thus increasing the number of deaths from this disease to five.

Meanwhile, the agency also reported that the number of positive cases increased to 127, 27 more than the 100 reported until yesterday.

“With these two additional deaths, there are already five regrettable events of this type that we have to face due to COVID-19. It is noteworthy that the death announced this week, as well as one of those reported today, correspond to people at relatively young ages, which makes us think about the importance of protecting ourselves by taking the appropriate measures to avoid contagion and community transmission on the Island. This virus does not discriminate, so anyone can be a victim of its lethal consequences.
