Health registers more than 11 thousand cases of COVID, for the third consecutive day

For the third consecutive day, Health authorities reported more than 11 thousand cases of COVID-19 in their daily report.

It is December 10, 11,897 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed, to accumulate one million 217 thousand 126 cases, since the beginning of the epidemic.

However, it is estimated that 80,420 (6%) are active cases due to presenting symptoms in the last 14 days.

In addition, health authorities reported 671 more deaths from the virus, for a total of 112,326 deaths from the disease.

According to official estimates, the trend in confirmed and suspected deaths from COVID-19 increased by 8% between weeks 47 and 48 of the epidemic.
