Offenbach (dpa / lhe) – After the increase in the corona numbers in Offenbach, there were initially no further cases in the city. The city announced on Monday that no new infections had been reported since Sunday. The day before, there had been a high of 65 active cases of infection. Offenbach’s crisis team will discuss how to proceed on Monday afternoon, the message said. At a press conference afterwards (5:00 p.m.) the results of the meeting will be reported.

The city’s health department had assumed the day before that this Monday the value of 35 sick people per 100,000 inhabitants could be exceeded within the past seven days. The Ministry of Social Affairs had already reported a value of 36 on Sunday. The escalation concept of the state of Hesse provides for new restrictions on public life from this value.
