Health – Mainz – Minister of Health calls for blood donations – Health

Mainz (dpa / lrs) – The Rhineland-Palatinate Minister of Health Clemens Hoch (SPD) called on the population to donate blood on Saturday. Because of the corona pandemic, the willingness to do so has decreased. But: “Blood donation saves lives”. It is all the more important that the opportunity to donate blood is used even in times of the pandemic. According to the ministry, the 3G rule applies in the blood donation centers – so only vaccinated, recovered or tested people are allowed to donate blood.
