Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) – People in need of care in Hesse have to pay an average of over 2000 euros per month for care in the home. With the exact average charge of 2035 euros, the state is slightly below the national average of 2068 euros, as can be seen from data from the Association of Substitute Funds as of January 1. The highest amount (816) in Hesse is the co-payment for pure care and support, plus the costs for accommodation and meals (718) and for investments in facilities (501). The personal share for care in the home has been increasing continuously for years.
