The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed that the medical kit and preventive supplies are dispensed for clinically simple cases of newly infected Coronavirus patients who are subject to home isolation, as well as those in contact with positive cases, according to the updated treatment protocols and according to the patients’ health status, after the examination and diagnosis of the case is signed in the hospital.
The Ministry of Health and Population indicated that the bag of medicines and preventive supplies that are delivered to the patient includes medication for the treatment protocol, whether for adults or children, in addition to a mercury thermometer to measure the temperature, a “hand gel”, and medical masks, along with a health status follow-up card.

The Ministry of Health and Population indicated that a bag of preventive supplies and medicines is being disbursed to contacts and positive cases who undergo home isolation through 284 medical teams distributed in hospitals, health units, and treatment convoys, and they are also followed up at home through preventive medicine teams, confirming that in the event of the development of symptoms Sickness of the person under home isolation is directed immediately to the nearest hospital to receive the necessary health care according to his condition.
And Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, announced the dispensing of treatment for 38,328 new cases of Corona virus (Covid-19), who are subject to home isolation, in all governorates of the Republic from the end of last May until today, Thursday.
She explained that 38 thousand and 328 bags of medicines and preventive supplies were dispensed for cases subject to domestic isolation, including 36 thousand and 567 bags for adults and 1,761 for children, while the total number of bags of medicines dispensed to contacts in all governorates of the Republic reached 181 thousand and 646 bags, of which 137 thousand and 50 were A bag for adults, and 44,596 bags for children.
