The Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, has discussed with the autonomous communities the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic in an extraordinary meeting of the Interritorial Council of the National Health System this Friday. Salvador Illa has congratulated the elderly for his “exemplary behavior” and “strict compliance with the measures” and has been directed especially at young people, since some of the demands approved this Friday “affect them more directly.” These rules will be made effective when the autonomous communities can transpose them into their legislation, “starting with the order to be shipped today.”
Nightlife

Smoking in the street
As Galicia, the Canary Islands and Melilla had already adopted, it will be no smoking in the street and on the terraces if the interpersonal distance of two meters cannot be guaranteed.
Socio-sanitary centers
Regarding the socio-sanitary centers, considering PCR testing of all new admissions 72 hours in advance. It will also be done to employees who return from leave and vacations, and to new workers who join.
Senior residences
In the residences, visits should be limited to one person per resident and one hour a day, except if the old man is at the end of life. In these centers, the departures of the elderly will also have to be limited.

The minister recalled that “the bottle is prohibited” and it has encouraged “to apply the sanctions in this matter that each autonomous community has established.” Salvador Illa has urged young people to remain “disciplined” in the face of the large increase in infections in recent weeks. “Let it be clear: drinking in the street is prohibited, you cannot drink in the street,” he insisted.
Screening for specific groups
It also establishes the obligation to screen specific groups with PCR where there is evidence of outbreaks, as populations at risk, in social health centers, educational centers or housing blocks.
