The Russian authorities have not yet come to a final decision on the opening of air links with Serbia. This was reported to RBC in the operational headquarters.
“The operational headquarters monitors the situation on a weekly basis and is working on expanding the list of countries with which air communication can be resumed on a reciprocal basis. All the decisions taken to expand the list of countries will be announced additionally when such decisions are made, ”the message says.
The headquarters recalled that in order to open flights, a foreign state must meet the established criteria: in two weeks, the daily increase in COVID-19 cases should be no more than 1%, the incidence rate in two weeks cannot exceed the ratio of 40 infected per 100 thousand people.
An RBC source close to the government confirmed that at one of its last meetings, the operational headquarters did indeed discuss the resumption of flights with Serbia.
