Leaving the board last week Agora Agnieszka Sadowska, who is responsible, inter alia, for supervising “Gazeta Wyborcza”, announced. According to the company’s announcement, Sadowska is bound by the contract until the end of January 2022, and later intends to implement other career plans. In its place, however, Agnieszka Siuzdak-Zyga was appointed by means of co-option.

As highlighted in the press release, the choice of the boss Gazeta.pl for this place is deeply thought out. The document notes that Agnieszka Siuzdak-Zyga has been associated with Agora for a long time. For years work showed that “she is able to integrate and engage teams in the implementation of ambitious goals and create a culture of cooperation, builds good relationships in the team and conducts open communication even on the most difficult topics”.

It is also important that she knows Gazeta.pl from the inside out and efficiently cooperates with other Agora Group businesses and partners external “- it was written in the explanatory memorandum.
Agnieszka Siuzdak-Zyga is a graduate of the University of Warsaw. She has graduated from numerous courses and has experience in building editorial teams, business development and change management. She has been associated with the digital media industry for over 10 years.
She started working for Agora in 2006 from cooperation with “Gazeta Wyborcza”. Later, however, she joined Gazeta.pl, where she worked successively as an editor, publisher, head of the newsroom and director of news services. As the director of content business growth of the portal, she co-created new development directions of Gazeta.pl and tested new business opportunities, including marketing activities, business analyzes and SEO. In October 2018, she took the position of the director of the Gazeta.pl division. Therefore, he is responsible for managing the entire area, but also for the financial result and business development of the portal.
