HE ONLY HAD TO APPLAUD: Eden Hazard identified the 2 best goals he has seen in the Champions League

In an interview for Nissan Football, which was shared by the official UEFA media, Eden Hazard had the opportunity to review some of the best moments he has witnessed in the Champions League.

And when asked to choose the best goal he has seen in the highest club competition in the world, the current Real Madrid footballer was left with two spectacular scores that were recently enjoyed by all of Madrid.

Eden highlighted the Chilean Cristiano Ronaldo (against Juventus) and Gareth Bale (against Liverpool) in the 2017/18 season: “The best goal I have seen at UCL? I think two years ago, Cristiano’s goal against Juventus. And also Gareth Bale’s against Liverpool in the final. Wow… they were really good goals. I was like this (applauding) in front of the TV. ”

Of course, the former Chelsea accepted that the goal of the Champions that he would have loved to score is the volley of Zinedine Zidane, his current DT, in the final of the 2001/02 edition: “The goal that I would have liked to score? It’s easy to say: Zidane’s in the Champions League final against Leverkusen. Left-handed volley in the upper corner of the goal, bye bye ”.

Undefeated Data. Eden Hazard has been a league champion in France (with Lille), England (with Chelsea) and Spain (with Real Madrid). Lifting titles in all the countries in which he has played as a professional.

Did you know..? Eden Hazard has been part of the TOP 10 of the Ballon d’Or on two occasions throughout his professional career. He was eighth overall in the ranking of the best footballer of the year in 2015 and 2018. This season cost him at Real Madrid, but, being physically well, he has the quality to be among the best of the elite.
