It is difficult to imagine something more budget-friendly from new cars than the LADA Granta. There are no cheaper options at all in the Russian market, and therefore those who want a new car for minimal money and who like the “brand-name” Ladovskiy X-face, which “Granta” resembles a car with a higher class – Vesta, will buy LADA Granta. Moreover, this machine also “eats” not much, and the service “does not fly” a pretty penny.
However, the “factory” fuel consumption in the current crisis situation seems a bit much, especially if you need to move a lot and, especially, work in a taxi or otherwise earn a living with a car. The solution seems to be the installation of HBO on the LADA Granta: just “invest”, and grief does not know. However, you will have to face a number of nuances.
In addition to buying a new LADA Granta, and choosing a new car also because of a 3-year warranty, you have to choose: HBO or warranty. Perhaps you should wait until the warranty ends, and only then re-equip the machine in the prescribed manner.
If the question “to put or not” is not worth it (you need to ask), then, in addition to the equipment itself, you need to decide on which mileage to equip the car. Here, the opinions of motorists and, in particular, “grant breeders” differ.
Some recommend installing HBO immediately after the purchase of Grants or at minimum mileage, while others recommend first “running in” the engine and the car as a whole, and putting “gas” after zero maintenance. However, someone conducts zero maintenance on 2 thousand kilometers, and someone on 8-10 thousand. Someone “pulls” to the first MOT – up to 15, or even up to 20 thousand km. Each has its own arguments for. But there are those who installed HBO on the “Grant” at 55 thousand kilometers and now regrets that they did not immediately install it. There are either opponents or skeptics questioning the expediency of HBO on the LADA Granta: “After 1000 km I set where I traveled 50-60 thousand km. Then I changed it to XRay. ”
There is also an opinion that for economic reasons it is not advisable to pay 20-25 thousand rubles for the installation of HBO if the Granta’s mileage is less than 20 thousand km per year, and this has a reasonable grain, especially for residents of regions with a mild climate and lack of need for long winter warm-ups.
