PT Bintang Medika Ambulance Driver Ahmad Syahrul Ramadhan admitted he experienced a strange sensation when asked to evacuate the body of Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J after being shot in the home of the former Propam police chief Ferdi Sambo last July 8.
He also recorded a video of his journey from Ferdy Sambo’s official residence to the Duren Tiga Police Complex at the police hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta.
The footage was later shown in the premeditated murder trial of Brigadier J with defendants Bharada Richard Eliezer or Bharada E, Bripka Ricky Rizal or Bripka RR and Strong Ma’ruf at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday (7/11).
Syahrul admitted that he carried out the documentation process according to his own will without any orders from others.
“Is it normal that it’s registered?” asked the prosecutor.
“For example, if there are strange insights, I will do a documentation,” Syahrul replied
“Is this your first time recording a witness?” Ask the Prosecutor again
“Yes,” Syahrul replied briefly.
“Did anyone ask the witnesses to record?” asked the prosecutor.
“Not at all,” Syahrul replied.
Syahrul said he was forbidden to light the rotator lamp by a member of the national police whose name he did not know when he was about to deliver the body of Brigadier J. He rushed to the police hospital, escorted by the Provos.
There were problems with the delivery of Brigadier J’s body to the hospital in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. One of them is traffic jam. While in the midst of the traffic jam, Syahrul documented his journey to deliver the body of Brigadier J.
“As long as there are no obstacles in the way?” asked the judge.
“It’s stuck, Your Honor,” Syahrul said while showing a video recording of the atmosphere of the trip to the police hospital.
Bharada E, Bripka RR and Strong Ma’ruf were charged with the premeditated murder of Brigadier J. The crime was committed together with the former head of the Propam division, Ferdy Sambo and his wife Putri Candrawathi in the official residence of the police complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta on July 8, then.
They were accused of violating Article 340 Subsidiary Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code.
Of the 12 witnesses summoned, only five were present to testify. They are swab officers, communications service providers and ambulance drivers.
