One in five women has reported missing work or school due to not having menstrual supplies, according to data from the Period Poverty Awareness Week website.
“Everyone deserves to live a happy and healthy life, and your period shouldn’t get in the way,” Grijalva said in a press release about the project.

New unopened packs of sanitary pads, tampons, pads, and menstrual cups are needed.
