The accident occurred shortly before noon on the Jouvencelles alpine ski slope, in Prémanon, in the Jura. A skier, in her twenties, went out on the piste. She finished her run and violently hit a tree.
When they arrived, the rescuers could only see the seriousness of his injuries. She was declared deceased early in the afternoon.
The young woman was skiing with a group of 7 people, who came from the Dijon region. All were subjected to a medical examination and psychological care.
