Southampton have returned to winning ways after losing 2-0 to Arsenal in the English Premier League. The team coached by Ralph Hasenhüttl beat Watford 3-1 away on Sunday and thus probably has no worries about relegation. The lead over the relegation zone grew to 13 points against a direct competitor.
Kevin Danso was not used for the winners. With Andre Gray, Nathaniel Chalobah and Domingos Quina, Watford had given up three players for safety reasons. According to British media reports, despite the corona virus restrictions, Gray had hosted a birthday party that the other two actors were said to have attended. The club wanted to protect its players from possible infection.
