Haselsteiner shows on TV how much money he has with him

On Saturday evening, Hans Peter Haselsteiner was a guest of “Wien heute” on the subject of the reopening of the Künstlerhaus on Karlsplatz. The restoration cost around 57 million euros and was raised by the industrialist and patron. The billionaire is one of the richest Austrians and is also known for his charitable work.

In the ORF program with Patrick Budgen, Haselsteiner gave a look behind the scenes. Because moderator Budgen asked at the end of the interview: “A little private and maybe indiscreet, but how much money do you put in your wallet when you’re on the go?”

The billionaire reached into his shirt pocket and took out large bills. Then he counted his cash in front of the camera and said “240 euros”. “And that will get you through the day,” asked the moderator. “Ah, yes, but I also have an ATM card, I admit,” replied Haselsteiner.
