Harry Boland, formerly of Waterford, Passes Away

Harry Boland, late of Newtownbalregan, dundalk, and formerly of Waterford, passed away peacefully while under the compassionate care of the staff at Our Lady of lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

A Life Remembered

Mr. Boland was the beloved husband of the late Monica (nĂ©e O’Reilly) and a cherished father to Peter,Attracta,Margaret,and Emmet. He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin. His memory will be treasured by his children, his adoring grandchildren OisĂ­n, SĂ­ofra, Luc, Nina, Ciara, and Hannah, daughters-in-law Romina and Catherine, sons-in-law jean-Michel and Shay, his brother Barry, sisters-in-law Anna, Antoinette, Helen, and Karen, brother-in-law Monsignor fr. Peter O’Reilly, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, neighbors, and all who knew and loved him.

Funeral arrangements

Visitation will be held at Dixon’s funeral home, Maxwell Row, Bridge Street, Dundalk (Eircode A91 PV07) on Sunday, Oct. 18,from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral procession will depart on Monday afternoon for St. Joseph’s Church, Castletown, Dundalk (Eircode A91 EK77), arriving for a funeral Mass at 1 p.m. Following the Mass, Mr.Boland will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery,beside his wife Monica and son Kevin.

Remembrances and Donations

The family requests family flowers only. Donations, if desired, might potentially be made to St. Vincent de Paul.Donation boxes will be available at the Funeral Home and Church.
