Rafael Nadal completes the contestants in the semifinals of Wimbledon 2022. The Spaniard has qualified for the last four, after struggling to beat Taylor Fritz.
Competing at Center Court All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Thursday (7/7/2022), Nadal had a tough duel against Fritz. The owner of 22 grand slams won in a duel of five sets, 3-6, 7-5, 3-6, 7-5, 7(10)-6(4).
Twice Nadal left behind opponents from the United States, before being able to win the fifth set. The win moves Nadal into the last four.

In the semifinals, Nadal will face Nick Kyrgios. The Australian had previously eliminated Cristian Garin from Chile.
In another chart, there is a duel Novak Djokovic vs Cameron Norrie. The semifinal match itself will be held on Friday (8/7) local time.
By qualifying for the semifinals of Wimbledon, Nadal maintains hope to be able to wipe out this year’s grand slam. Previously, the 36-year-old had won the 2022 Australian Open and French Open.
