A major corona outbreak occurred in a psychiatric ward at the Hannover Medical School (MHH). According to a spokesman, 14 patients and 11 employees have been infected so far. The origin of the infections is unclear, said the spokesman. None of the people affected is so seriously ill that he or she has to be ventilated.
Station was isolated
The uninfected patients are now in quarantine and the ward has been isolated. In addition, no more people will be admitted until further notice. Since the outbreak of the corona pandemic, the MHH has treated the most serious diseases with Covid-19. The clinic has so far managed to remain largely free of infections.
