Hancko stays. Sparta agreed with Fiorentina on further hosting and a transfer option

As the first one information was brought by iSport.cz, the iDNES.cz server was confirmed by sources familiar with the course of the negotiations.

On Friday, July 24, the 22-year-old left-footed stopper or extreme defender began preparations with Sparta.

His guest stay at the club expired last July. And after two days, he’s a Spartan again.

Gain Hancka was one of Sparta’s priorities in the summer transition period. He came last summer, but the autumn under coach Jílek, like most of his teammates, did not succeed.

Hancko has significantly improved since the spring. Before the football stopped due to a forced break, he gave an excellent performance in five matches. He showed that it was in him, and convinced Sparta to negotiate his transfer.

But the option she would have to buy it for was too high. The club was not willing to give six million euros, about 160 million crowns. If he paid for the money, he would significantly surpass the previous record arrival in the Czech league. Last year, Slavia paid approximately 100 million crowns for Nico Stancia.

Sparta did not use the option, but continued to negotiate with the Italian club about the possibility for which Hancko could stay in Prague.

As Fiorentina’s last match of this year is still playing on Sunday, August 2, negotiations with the Italian side were difficult.

How individual personnel change

In recent days, however, it has moved. Already on Friday
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio from Sky Sports, who always has accurate information, announced that Hancko will stay in Sparta for another year of hosting.

And even this time his sources were right. The clubs have been agreed since Friday, only other issues remain to be resolved. But that shouldn’t be a snag.

Earlier, Sparta had preliminarily agreed with Hanck on the conditions under which he would continue on Letná.

The Slovak long defender is the fourth Spartan reinforcement for the new year. In past days the club introduced the Czech national quarterback Ondřej Čelůstka from Antalya. Earlier, he announced the arrivals of the Bulgarian striker Martin Minčev from Varna and the Slovak goalkeeper Dominik Holec from Žilina.

Sparta, on the other hand, was left by one of the best players last season, midfielder Guélor Kanga, who did not agree on a new contract with the club. And he returned to the Red Star Belgrade, where he came from in the winter of 2018.
