Formula 1 settles in Bahrain for two weeks. This weekend is a ride on a classic track, which riders and teams are used to.
In the first practice began testing tires for next year, which are C3, so in Bahrain a medium mixture. The tests will continue in the second training as well. Charles Leclerc has already complained about the tires on the radio.
On Friday, the track in Bahrain is traditionally dusty. During the training we saw Grosjean, Leclerc and Verstappen in class.
There were changes for the first training. Russell was replaced by Nissan, Räikkönen Kubic.
Hamilton set the fastest time ahead of Bottas and Pérez.
