Hamáček got married – Novinky.cz

“So I got married yesterday (Friday),” Hamáček wrote on Facebook, where he also attached a photo from the outdoor ceremony. “Our story may contain a lot of clichés, but there are things that you won’t affect, everyone knows for sure. Gabina and I met at work, we fell in love, and we got married today,” he added.

At the beginning of this year, Hamáček announced that he was divorcing his wife Kamila, his first marriage ended in June after 13 years. He has two children from his first marriage.

The close relationship between the Deputy Prime Minister and Kloudová has been discussed for a long time in political corridors. In recent years, Kloudová has also appeared in public alongside the influential social democrat Karel Březina (ČSSD), and was the wife of former Deputy Mayor Jiří Vávra (then for TOP 09).

Topolánek’s key collaborator

During the reign of Mirek Topolánek (ODS), Kloudová was considered his key collaborator. As a member of the Civic Democrats, she subsequently worked in the City Council from 2010 to 2014.

She later left the ODS and ran in the parliamentary elections in 2013 for the Head Up Up close to former President Václav Klaus. However, the project led by Jana Bobošíková failed in the elections. In 2014, Kloudová joined the office of Deputy Prime Minister for Science, Research and Innovation Pavel Bělobrádek (KDU-ČSL).

Hamáček has been the chairman of the CSSD since February 2018. He was first elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 2006, from December 2012 he was its vice-chairman and chairman for the entire term of office from 2013 to 2017. He has been Minister of the Interior since June 2018, and in the past he was a representative of Mladá Boleslav. During this year’s coronavirus crisis, he served as head of the Central Crisis Staff.
