The second largest running event in New York City has been canceled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The NYC Half should have been held in New York on March 15th. Around 25,000 runners had registered for this running event.
2 options for runners
But the half marathon is completely canceled this year. There will be no later date in the course of the year, as this is logistically impossible.
The New York Road Runners are offering runners who have already registered two options. Either the entry fees will be fully refunded or the entry place can be transferred to the year 2021 free of charge.
The exact date has not yet been set for next year. It will definitely run in March.
