Half an hour of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gameplay footage leaks – Gaming – News

Gameplay footage of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla can be seen on YouTube and other video streaming sites. It is about half an hour of video material. Ubisoft tries to take the images offline; the publisher wants to reveal the gameplay himself next Sunday.

The images appeared on YouTube on Sunday. After take-down requests from Ubisoft, several videos have been removed, but one reddit user has put the images on Streamablewhere they can still be seen in low quality. The images show one work in progressversion of the game. This is probably a version that has been shown to journalists.

The open-world gameplay shown is similar to that of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The video also shows conversations and gameplay at sea. A reddit user notes that the architecture in the game is not historically correct. The game is set in the Viking era, but the game also includes structures such as castles that were actually built hundreds of years after that era.

The video shows the main character Eivor with allies breaking through the gate of a castle with a battering ram. Also the skill tree which is designed to resemble the night sky.

Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in late April. The game will be released later this year for PC and consoles. The publisher has shown some trailers, but no real gameplay footage yet. Ubisoft will be on Sunday 12 July Forward-evenement. Presumably, the company itself shows gameplay footage of the new Assassin’s Creed game. The event can be followed via a live stream from 21:00.
