Gyeongbuk Center Hosts ‘G-Star Dreamers‘ Final Demo day
Pohang, South Korea – The Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center concluded its ‘G-Star Dreamers’ acceleration program with a final Demo Day held on December 20th at the Genesis Lab of Handong University in Pohang.The event aimed to boost investment opportunities and visibility for participating startups.
The Demo Day featured a comprehensive program including investor relations (IR) pitching, one-on-one business consultations, and a networking session.Twelve companies presented their technologies and products in seven-minute pitches, followed by eight-minute Q&A sessions with potential investors.
Attendees included representatives from leading venture capital and investment firms such as IM investment Partners, Ecopro Partners, and POSCO Technology Investment, who evaluated the startups’ growth potential and investment readiness.
Following the pitches, tailored business consultations connected companies with industry experts to refine commercialization strategies, explore potential collaborations, and solidify investment approaches. The subsequent networking program facilitated open dialog and the exchange of technology and market insights between companies.
The event spurred follow-up conversations between investors and startups, fostering growth within the Gyeongbuk startup ecosystem.The ‘G-Star Dreamers’ program has provided ongoing support to innovative companies in the Gyeongbuk region, encompassing market and technology verification, commercialization strategy review, and investment readiness.
