Guild Wars 2 End of Dragons expansion coming February 2022 – Gaming – News

It’s been a first-look, not a “look-here-everything-is-in-the-expac-event.”
It is also announced in advance.

For example, at the moment we know that there are still 2 mastery-lines that are completely unmentioned, nothing has been said about the other maps (only Shing Jea and Echovald are mentioned).
I suspect the other maps may be related to those mastery tracks. I suspect Kaineng and the Jade Sea specifically.

EoD gets a combat mount, for 2 people, first time that happens in the game. It’s more than just a 2 person mount, but I’m curious to see that for real.

I’m not much of a fishing fan myself, but I wasn’t a fan of the idea of mounts originally either – I’ll give it a shot. I agree that there is still a real game changer missing here, but it is difficult to top mounts and in terms of movement I suspect that they got everything they could out of it.

In addition, some other things have also been announced, such as the beta weekends, new Guild Hall (on the island of the old Shing Jea arena), strikes will get a challenge mode and their rewards will be adjusted. And there’s more to come than that, I’m also hoping for a game-changer, but I’m going to be happy when an expansion of HoT’s level comes out with good, replayable metas.

In addition, there will also be the WvW alliances and the engine upgrade (to DX11), so all in all I think it’s worth it at the moment. Although I keep hoping for 1 extra nice feature, but this certainly doesn’t disappoint me.
