The Meiland family has moved to Gelderland
The Meiland family invited The Stentor to come and take a look at their new home. Martien, Erica and Maxime have recently moved to the Achterhoek, Gelderland. During the tour you can see that Martien and Erica both have their own place in the house. Maxime will also be assigned a separate part of the house. In addition, the Meilandjes say that the move went surprisingly well. And although the family during Chateau Meiland could barely stop doing odd jobs, they are not planning to renovate it this time… Or well, next spring there is still a major horticultural renovation planned!

Fortunately, Erica and Martien already feel completely at home in Hengelo. Erica says it felt like “a warm bath”. Martien adds: “The people in the village are all so nice. I still remember: the first morning I went to Albert Heijn. I think I have 30, 35 times “Good morning!” said. (…) Very nice!” No wonder that the family indicates that they do not want to leave for the time being!

Chateau Meiland season 4 is coming!
Would you like to see more of the new home of the Meiland family? Curious about Martien’s darkroom? The fourth season of Chateau Meiland partly revolves around moving from France to the Netherlands. The TV program can be seen from 31 August at 8.30 pm on SBS6 and Kijk.nl. New episodes are broadcast weekly on Mondays and Thursdays.
