Guerra López: “The Pope is concerned about polarization in Latin America” ​​| Society | America Edition

The newly appointed secretary of the Pontifical Commission for Latin America (CAL), the Mexican philosopher Rodrigo Guerra López, assures that the pope “is concerned about polarization” in Latin America, in an interview with EFE in which he analyzes the decline in Catholics in the continent due, above all, to the lack of an open Church that is not just “an aristocratic cenacle of the elect”.

Guerra, founder of the Center for Advanced Social Research (CISAV), has been in his position for just over four months and receives EFE at the headquarters of this “ministry” of the Church that is responsible for analyzing what is happening on the Latin American continent and inform the pontiff.
