TIME.CO, Jakarta – After a huge loss case with Grand Theft Auto footage or GTA VI is in development, Rockstar Games has addressed the situation.

In a statement, rock star games he expressed disappointment at the leak and made it clear that the “network outage” led to the unauthorized release of the video.
“We recently experienced a network outage where an unauthorized third party illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information from our systems, including early development footage for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto,” the statement read.
“At present, we do not anticipate any disruption of our live game services or any long-term effects on the development of our ongoing project.”
The developer added that work on the next Grand Theft Auto will continue as planned and the leak won’t interfere with the progress of the project.
“We will be updating everyone again soon and of course we will properly introduce you to this next game when it is ready,” continued the company. “We would like to thank everyone for their continued support in this situation.”
After the footage surfaced, Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier verified that the leak was genuine and not a fan-made project. “The recording is still early and unfinished,” he wrote.
“This is one of the biggest losses in gaming history and a nightmare for Rockstar Games. … The impact of this leak may not be clear for some time. “
In particular, the leak seems to confirm some details slipped on the project earlier this year. One of the recordings features multiple protagonists, one of which is a Latin woman. It is also evident that the game, at least in part, takes place in a fictional version of Miami, as Vice City did during the PlayStation 2 era.
Rockstar hasn’t officially announced Grand Theft Auto VI yet, so the release date is still predictable. Previous leaks suggest development first began in 2014, while Rockstar is reportedly hoping to release a new rumor in fiscal year 2024.
