Group of white supremacists in Boston march drawing condemnation from residents: “Your hate is as cowardly as it is disgusting”

Authorities received a report of about 100 people holding shields and at least two different flags walking down Congress Street toward the Old State House and City Hall Plaza, BPD Officer Kim Tavares said.

In June, a group believed to be affiliated with the front was detained after officials said they planned to riot a Gay Pride event in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

In a letter posted on Facebook, City Councilman Ed Flynn lamented the Patriot Front’s presence at Boston events in 2021.

“It is totally disgusting to go back to reading reports and seeing videos on social media about dozens of neo-Nazis making yet another brazen public display of their hateful ideology,” Flynn said.

“While all people of good will and decency are angry and extremely disturbed by the increased activity we continue to see from neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups locally, we can no longer say we are surprised at what we continue to see around the world. ”.
