The variety of film screenings with live music continues, as most recently in the KKL with a film by William Kentridge on Shostakovich and Pictures from Space on Gustav Holst. Film series such as “Harry Potter” remain sure crowd pullers. Ludwig Wicki conducted the 21st Century Orchestra in May for “The Prisoner of Azkaban”, followed at the end of the year by “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”. And with “Harry Potter” Wicki has also been touring abroad as a guest conductor in recent weeks.
