If you’ve kept up with season 17 of Grey’s AnatomyYou know there have been a lot of twists and turns so far, namely the jaw-dropping returns of fan-favorite characters Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) and George O’Malley (TR Knight). But after such a major twist, could it be possible that there are even more character returns in the works?

Many fans of Grey’s Anatomy they certainly think so, and better yet, they are convinced they know who might return to Gray-Sloan Memorial Hospital, especially after seeing a cryptic Instagram post from the former star of Grey’s Anatomy, Jessica Capshaw.
Recall that the actress, who played Dr. Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) on the show until her departure in 2018, she posted a seemingly normal photo of herself last week, but what caught the attention of many fans in particular was the jersey she was wearing, which featured a graphic of New York City.
“New York State of Mind in a Sea of California Sun … (Trying to Bring Back Sunny Thoughts),” Jessica wrote in the caption.
As many fans of Grey’s AnatomyJessica’s character was a pediatric surgeon who was introduced in season 5 of the medical show, initially as a love interest for Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez).
But what some may not remember is that Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) left Gray-Sloan Memorial Hospital to move to New York City, leaving the show at the end of season 14 to reunite with Callie and her daughter, Sofia, in the Big Apple.
Naturally, fans were quick to make the connection between the actress’ jersey and the Arizona character, speculating that the mention of New York City was a possible clue to Arizona’s future comeback in Grey’s Anatomy.
Some fans, in fact, pointed to greater support for the theory that the actress had also reunited with the current cast of Grey’s Anatomy just one day after his Instagram post, making a surprise appearance on the January 14 episode.
“She will return, last night the cast had a meeting and she appeared in it, she will return! Commented one Instagram user.
Likewise, the special virtual event, which had the stars of Grey’s Anatomy, featured many current cast members. But one of the stars Camilla Luddington who plays Jo Wilson made sure to hint at the possibility of Arizona’s return at one point in the episode, specifically while talking about what would happen to Jo in season 17.
“He’s already been teased, but he’s thinking about switching to an obstetrician. So that will be a great story for her, ”Camilla confessed.
“I’m ready for my pink uniforms, when you want to put them on. And maybe Capshaw can come back, ”Luddington said.
“You’re never ready for pink uniforms!” Capshaw replied.
