Wanted to get a reaction

She said that was what she would most like to get during the speech, and was a reaction to the remaining CO2 budget the world has left.

– But the only statement left is “how dare you”, says Thunberg during the interview with SR.

During the interview, she also criticizes how world leaders behaved after the speech.

– Presidents, prime ministers, kings and princesses came over and wanted to talk to me. They saw the opportunity to take a photo together with their Instagram profile, and then add the topic guy “savage plan”, Thunberg says in the interview reproduced by Sky News, and continues:

– It seemed as if they had forgotten to be ashamed that their generation had disappointed future generations.

– And these things happen all the time. People just want to stand next to me and other climate activists. Then they can post it on social media, and make themselves look good because it makes them look like they care, she continues.

It was in September 2019 that Thunberg sailed across the Atlantic to participate in the UN Climate Summit.
