Grenoble administrative court: a mixed 2020 results

FOCUS – Denis Besle, the president of the administrative court of Grenoble drew up, at the beginning of February 2021, the activity report of his jurisdiction for 2020. With 5.8% fewer requests than the previous year, the court suffered from the health crisis. But he also experienced a important electoral disputes, with numerous appeals related to municipal elections.

Denis Besle, president of tri­bu­nal administrative (TA) of Grenoble, took stock on February 2 on the activity of its jurisdiction for the year 2020. Like other judicial institutions in Grenoble, the administrative jurisdiction had to face a number of constraints linked to the health crisis. Especially during the first confinement, during which the court maintained the only hearings of an urgent nature.
