Also in the country, a record number of people died from coronavirus per day – 65 people. This number of deaths has become a record over the past six months. The last time the number of deaths over 64 was recorded on May 8, when 68 people died.

During the day, 407 carriers of COVID-19 were hospitalized in hospitals, 5.71% more than the day before. During the week, about 360 people a day were admitted to hospitals.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 792.2 thousand cases of COVID-19 and more than 16.3 thousand deaths have been identified in Greece. More than 3.3 thousand patients were connected to ventilators.
