The deal, which will include a mutual protection clause, is expected to be formally announced by the countries on Tuesday 28 September. Now the Greek government does not comment on this information.
“Be patient,” a Greek government official told the publication.
According to the newspaper, the agreement will be signed by the defense ministers of Greece and France. The signing ceremony will take place in Paris.
Prior to that, Greece agreed to purchase 24 combat aircraft Rafale from the French company Dassault Aviation. Half of these aircraft have already been used.
