For now, the electric motor product that Gesits sells is just a model. The price is still above Rp. 20 million.

According to Gesit, the electric motor is equivalent to a gasoline scooter widely used in Indonesia. Gesits electric motorcycle is sold at the price of Rp. 28,970,000 on the road to DKI Jakarta. This is for the price with one battery. There is also a bundled package plus another battery priced at IDR 37 million.

The Gesits electric motor is equipped with an air-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor which is channeled through a pulley belt drive. The Gesits has a 72 Volt 20 Ah Li-NCM battery. The maximum power can reach 6.7 horsepower with a maximum torque of 30 Nm.

Acceleration 0-50 km / h takes only 5 seconds. The maximum speed reaches 70 km / hour. With a battery, the Gesits electric motor can cover a distance of 50 km. If you bring two batteries, the range will increase to 100 km.

Agung himself is optimistic about Gesits’ future in Indonesia. Currently, the Gesits electric motor has been used by various groups.

“We have supplied Gesits to offices, both BUMN and several government offices. Secondly, we retail it throughout Indonesia by working with distributor agents,” he said.
