The minor who killed his teacher and then committed suicide at his school, in Torreón, lived in a criminal environment.
The FIU froze accounts with the paternal grandfather after detecting irregular flows for 100 million pesos. The 58-year-old man received pretrial detention for being the owner of the weapons used by the minor, whom he taught to learn to shoot, according to the governor of Coahuila, Miguel Riquelme.

The name of the maternal grandmother is unknown; however, it is presumed that she was carrying out illegal acts in Durango, where she was killed. His activities and his identity are unknown to the maternal grandfather.
In an interview with Radio formula, the governor of Coahuila, Miguel Riquelme, said that during a search in the house of the grandfather of the minor several short arms were found, in addition to air guns, so it is presumed that the grandfather was driving his grandson to handle the same.
