Government lowers fuel prices for week 25 and January 31

SANTO DOMINGO.- The Government lowered fuel prices for week 25 and January 31, with the exception of fuel oil, which will increase RD $ 2.00.

The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) reported that as of this Saturday the gallon of premium gasoline will drop RD $ 0.50 and be sold to RD $ 233.00, and from the regular one it will decrease RD $ 0.30 and cost RD $ 217.60.

The gallon of regular diesel will lower RD $ 1.80 and be offered at RD $ 180.60, and the optimum will decrease RD $ 3.30 and cost RD $ 191.40.

The avtur will reduce RD $ 3.50 per gallon and will be offered at RD $ 143.50, the kerosene will decrease RD $ 3.40 and cost RD $ 170.00, while fuel oil will increase to RD $ 97.46.

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will drop RD $ 0.80 and cost RD $ 96.50 per gallon, and natural gas will be maintained at RD $ 28.97 per cubic meter.
